The desire of unimaginable wealth and greed takes hold in the not-too-distant future when two drifters traversing the desert run upon the largest gold nugget ever discovered. They decide to dig up their loot, and one man goes out to get the equipment. The last guy must contend with the harsh desert environment, hungry wild dogs, and unidentified visitors while fighting the growing sense that he has been left to his own devices.
