Book of Eli

Eli (Denzel Washington) has been traveling westward through North America for the past thirty years in a violent post-apocalyptic society. He finds comfort in a special book that he keeps with him and guards carefully. He also hunts small animals and looks for items in wrecked homes and cars that he can use to trade in villages for water and supplies. After noticing Eli's amazing fighting prowess, Carnegie (Gary Oldman), the village's strong crime boss, offers Eli a spot in his gang. In order to at least persuade Eli to spend the night with him, Carnegie pushes his blind lover Claudia (Jennifer Beals) to send her daughter Solara (Mila Kunis). However, Eli demonstrates that he is a superior guy.
