Premise

Ana, a cook with a rigorous history, defends her restaurant when the neighborhood mafia turns up to burn it down and demonstrates her knife abilities both inside and outside the kitchen.

Film critique

A pretty simple action comedy thriller that sets out to just amuse viewers and succeeds in doing so right away. The Hollywood combination of comedy and action, which has been used so frequently and consistently in the past, has the recipe down pat. We enter a genre that is so well-known to us, following the same patterns as in the previous two decades with mob bosses and smartass oneliners.
