8 Mile

1995 finds Detroit as the scene. The 8 Mile road, which divides the city in half along racial lines, runs through it. A young white rapper named Jimmy "B-Rabbit" Smith Jr. musters the courage within himself to overcome these arbitrary barriers in order to realize his aspiration of becoming a successful hip-hop artist. All he has to do is avoid choking with his friend Future and the three one third in place.
