Father David, a devoted Catholic priest, meets Terry by chance one frosty night as he struggles every day to maintain the faith of his diminishing congregation. The loving man of God is delighted to take in the lost soul who has encountered difficulty and is eager to put what he preaches into practice. However, a selfless act of generosity and Christmas charity gradually turns into a twisted parasitic relationship when the impoverished visitor takes advantage of the Good Samaritan's hospitality. However, what was the devout pastor considering? Because no good deed ever goes unpunished, they say. Will Father David test his faith by removing the leech from the home?
