After leaving the masked monster Michael Myers caged and burning in Laurie Strode's basement with her daughter Karen (Judy Greer) and granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak), Laurie Strode (Curtis) is rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and the mistaken belief that she has finally killed her lifelong tormentor. However, Michael's customary slaughter resumes as he escapes Laurie's trap. The entire town of Haddonfield is motivated to stand up against their unstoppable monster as Laurie battles her pain and gets ready to protect herself from him. The survivors of Michael's initial rampage, including the Strode women, decide to take matters into their own hands and form a vigilante mob to track down Michael once and for all. The vigilante mob sets out to do so. Tonight, evil perishes.
